This was probably one of my favorite places that we ate at. It was cheap and it was simple. The restaurant itself is tiny and located inside a plaza near Lake Louise. It gets filled pretty fast as the afternoon we went the line was already out the door, but the service was quick as we were inside 5 minutes later. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but the indoor ones are limited to just about 4-5 seats. There’s a beautiful river behind the plaza built with plenty of picnic tables that you can eat at while watching the view. It’s simply gorgeous.

We found this place via Yelp after hiking Moraine Lake and Louise Lake and ended up starving although we originally planned to head back to Canmore to eat but it would’ve taken too long. I was craving breakfast type food so we searched for a close breakfast place nearby even though it was 12:00PM already and so we were taking a gamble to see if there was anyplace that was still serving breakfast type food. I am so glad we went with this place still, the recipes were simple but delicious not to mention affordable! I ordered The Trailhead tomato wrap ($8.25 CAD – about $6.15 USD) and the boyfriend ordered a The Cured (all meat: ham bacon and sausage at $9.25 CAD – about $7.00 USD) tomato wrap. You can choose a sauce in the wrap, I opted out since I’m more of a dry wrap person. They ended up making two The Cured wraps instead, which I was okay with anyways.
We lucked out and managed to snag two seats inside and waited for our food. The food was quick, only took about 7-10 minutes since there were so many customers ahead of us. The wraps smelled delicious! Be careful of the fresh eggs inside, it’s SUPER hot (I burned my tongue from it) fresh off the pan. The wraps were filled with tomatoes, eggs, onions, and meat. Eggs were fluffy and perfect texture that helped balance the natural saltiness of the meats. I loved it! Although for some, one single wrap alone might not be enough as my boyfriend ended up still being hungry after (filling meal for me) albeit loving his wrap too. They have all kinds of other foods like sandwiches and bagels. They also sell pastries, coffee and hot teas as well if you want to grab a drink with your meal. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re ever in the area and is looking for something cheap to eat! It’s even better that there’s a bakery and other cafes and restaurants nearby if you want to grab something sweet to eat afterwards. 🙂
